Layton was born in Bury, Manchester and he began his career at the age of 12 playing the title role of Billy in the West End production of Billy Elliot. He made his debut TV appearance as Kylie in the BBC comedy Beautiful People. He went on to train at Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts which was documented on CBBC’s School For Stars.

Theatre includes: Paul in Kiss Me Kate (Sheffield Crucible); Seaweed in Hairspray! (2018 UK Tour); Angel in Rent (London/UK Tour); The Car Man (Matthew Bourne’s New Adventures); Simon in The Lord of the Flies (Matthew Bourne’s New Adventures) and Young Michael in Thriller Live (West End).

TV/Film includes: Rocketman (Paramount); Larry in Benidorm (ITV) and Postcode (CBBC). Layton played series regular ‘Stephen’ in the BBC Comedy Bad Education series and feature film.

Layton is currently playing ‘Jamie’ in Everybody’s Talking About Jamie in London’s West End.

George trained at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts, London.
 

He made his debut in the London company of WICKED (Apollo Victoria) in the role of Boq, later joining the Original UK/Ireland Tour. He returned to the London production for a limited engagement in 2019/20.


He appeared as Zaki in the Original London Cast of BIG FISH (The Other Palace), prior to which he was cast by Andrew Lloyd Webber for his Redevelopment Workshop of STARLIGHT EXPRESS (The Other Palace) working with Andrew, Arlene Phillips and Richard Stilgoe as they revisited and updated this legendary musical.


Credits include: Tobias in SWEENEY TODD (Welsh National Opera/West Yorkshire Playhouse & La Monnaie, Belgium) The title role in PETER PAN (New Wimbledon Theatre & Milton Keynes Theatre), Tom in the Original Cast of THE GUINEA PIG CLUB (York Theatre Royal), u/s Woof in HAIR (European Arena Tour).
 

In 2020 he spent time with the National Theatre of Scotland on a new musical with the working title “The Big Noise”.
He was invited to record "I Am The Starlight" (from Starlight Express) by Andrew Lloyd Webber for his latest album, UNMASKED: THE PLATINUM COLLECTION, duetting with Mica Paris. In 2019, George was approached by the BBC to join the professional Jury representing the UK in the Eurovision Song Contest. He was subsequently asked to assume this position once again the following year, in an online version of the competition.
George is an accomplished Director and Vocal Coach, and is a member of the Musical Theatre faculty at The Urdang Academy, London. He has previously coached at some of the UK’s most prestigious conservatories including Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts, Italia Conti and LAMDA.

Rob was formally the Head of Singing & Music at LAMDA in London, following his role as Head of Singing at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts, London. He is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and is also a qualified Massage Therapist.

 

Rob originally studied as an actor/singer/dancer and his credits include: Les Miserables, Batboy, Ragtime, Grease, Riverdance, Jerry Springer – the Opera, Carousel, Ragtime, The Wild Party,
Moon Landing, Grab Me A Gondola, Dude! Where’s My Teddy Bear?


Directing credits include: Ghost, The Wedding Singer, 9 to 5 and Legally Blonde.

 

As Musical Director his credits include: Oliver! Grease, Little Shop of Horrors, The Drowsy Chaperone, The Secret Garden, Parade, Sweeney Todd and most recently, MD/Arranger for Linzi Hateley –True Colours.
 

Rob also regularly coaches professional performers/productions around the UK. Credits include: Soul Sister (Savoy Theatre) and Loserville (Garrick Theatre) and the Glee Club Challenge (Indigo 02). As a composer his credits include: Sonder, The Laramie Project, The Temperamentals and his debut album ‘Scrapbook’ with fellow composer Verity Quade, featuring many West End performers. He co-wrote the song ‘Confidence is Conscienceless’, featured in
the Sky TV documentary ‘Life Is Beauty-Full’.

Miriam trained at the Arts Educational Schools London and graduated with a BA Honours Degree in Musical Theatre in 2017.

She earned the Best Actress in a Musical Award at The Stage Debut Awards for her brilliant performance as Claire DeLoone in Drew McOnie’s “On the Town”. She was also nominated for a Laurence Olivier Award for Best Musical in a Musical.

​

Her theatre credits include Tommy Kail’s Hamilton at the Victoria Palace, where she was part of the original London cast as cover Peggy/Eliza/Angelica; Drew McOnie’s On the Town at the Regents Park Open Air Theatre, where she portrayed the character of Clare; Cameron Wenn’s The Life at the Art Educational, where she played Queenie.

​

Her television credits include Granada Reports (2019); Moominvalley (2019), Cats and the Movie Musical (television documentary, 2019).

From there she joined the cast of Les Miserables (Queens Theatre) playing the Factory Girl and understudying Cosette & Fantine. Credits since include Princess Aurora in Awaking Beauty (Stephen Joseph Theatre, Scarborough written & directed by Alan Ayckbourn), Annie Get Your Gun (Young Vic), Rapunzel in Into The Woods (Regents Park Open Air Theatre), Gingy/Sugar Plum Fairy in Shrek The Musical (Theatre Royal Drury Lane), Renee in Dirty Rotten Scoundrels and Nancy in Oliver! at the Watermill Theatre, Newbury. Currently `Alice is starring as the green witch Elphaba in London’s West End production of Wicked. Alice was also a guest singer on the Michael Ball Both Sides Now & If Everyone Was Listening tour, a backing vocalist for Josh Groban's All That Echoes UK tour and most recently guest singer on Russell Watson's Songs from the Heart tour.
